Our edible bird’s nest products are made using traditional methods of cleaning and preparation. All our bird’s nests are abandoned and ethically harvested from bird houses in Malaysia and Indonesia. They are 100% hand-cleaned, with strictly no bleaching.

During our preparation process, the bird’s nest is prepared with different flavour blends and bottled locally according to strict regulatory standards. No additives and stabilisers are added to the products.

Depending on your consumption methods, a 150ml bottle can last anywhere between a single to three servings.

There is no limit nor negative effects to consuming bird’s nest excessively. The recommended daily consumption of bird’s nest is 3-5g. This is because consuming this amount daily can already meet the nutrition needs of the body.

The ingredients vary according to the blend you choose. By default, our 150ml and 42ml bottles contain 10g and 1.2g of dry bird’s nest respectively.

This is the ideal concentration for the respective volumes, where the composition of dry bird’s nest to water is measured for maximum absorbency upon consumption.

Edible bird’s nest is split into different grades: Grade AAA, Grade AA, Grade A and Grade C.

Grade AAA bird’s nest is the most prized and rare, with the perfect shape and containing minimal natural impurities. This is considered the purest grade of bird’s nest as it requires the least amount of processing. In fact, it’s 90% edible upon harvesting! This grade of bird’s nest is naturally the most expensive.

Grade AA bird’s nests are perfectly shaped and contain high concentration levels as well, but with more impurities. This grade of bird’s nest requires more cleaning to remove impurities such as grime and feathers. Bird’s nest of this grade is commonly hand-cleaned without the use of bleach and other chemicals. The end product is highly similar to Grade AAA bird’s nest, with a longer cleaning process.

Grade A bird’s nest is high quality, yet economical. These bird’s nests are ideal for consumers who are looking for high-quality nests at a more affordable price. Most bird’s nest retail brands offer this grade of bird’s nest.

Grade C bird’s nests are the most popular. They are easier to farm and are often high-quality, smooth textured nests. Its off-white colour makes it easily distinguishable, due to it being natural and 100% organic. They are ideal for people who aren’t concerned with the perfect natural shape and presentation of the bird’s nest.

Both come from whole nests, with the only difference being their presentation and their prices as a result of the presentation. As such, the nutritional properties of both are the same and provide the same benefits.

As the name suggests, bird’s nest strands (燕条) are pieces of the nests that are retailed as whole nests or maintained as sections of bird’s nest strands (燕条). Bird’s nest fragments (碎燕) are pieces that are broken off from the whole nests.

Due to it being difficult to keep the harvested nests whole during the extensive retrieval and cleaning process, bird’s nest strands (燕条) are normally priced higher.
